Animal furniture
Early birds can catch delicious information!!
I push myself to turn out at 6 am every morning.
Then while watching TV and eating breakfast, news program I'd been watching features really interesting furniture designer!
His name is Kiichiro ADACHI. The concept of his product is a fusion of animal and furniture. Wood is a capital material in his works. He's making his work at his atelier one by one by himself.
The table behind him is Dear Deer Dinner.
I searched another images of his work I saw this morning. But unfortunately, he hadn't updated his web site.
There were other types of furniture combined with other types of animal!!

Lebanon is not familiar country for me. But This brand shows that it is a interesting country which has born such a amusing designers! When I saw their furniture for the first time, my impression was just"How colorful and vivid they are." But after my research of this brand and " Bokja cloth", I realized the depth of the meaning of these furnitures. These clothes were not just mere clothes. It was a special and unique clothes which were made by mother longing her daughter's happiness.

"Fredrerique & Morrel"
At the exhibition of "Mysterious Interior"in Tokyo
These are works of French design group called "Frederique and Morrel".
(photo taken by auther)
French artist Frederique Morrel has a mission to rescue the dying art of embroidery by giving it a contemporary twist.
Deer, unicorn, foxes and bunnies shed their hides in exchange for a new skin of vintage tapestries to become esoteric and wonderfully original pieces.

It was really new to me. I was completely overwhelmed by the world of this brand!
At the exhibition, they were displayed like below.
Fallen leaves were carpeted under each objects. and they were spotlighted by worm light.
Then I thought this space would be really good for cafe!!
I'd like to make this happen someday!
