My opinion

Paper material tend to evoke traditional "Japanese style".
But this pendant lamp designed by German studio assocats "Modern" and "near future" in spite of the use of Japanese paper.
 Interesting point is that in contradiction to the near-future outlook, the use of Japanese paper makes it possible to reflect worm light.
